How to Clean Your Sex Toys?

1. Wash Before and After Use  

Washing before use is a no-brainer. When you're not using your toys, they might pick up lint, pet hair, or other bacteria. Putting that straight into your body? Not ideal! Even if you're the only one using your toys, a post-use wash is still important. If you skip this step, your toys may fade or degrade over time. And, if you store unclean toys together, there's a chance of bacterial cross-contamination.

Reading up on your toy's specifics helps you care for it the right way. The sex toys we often use are: vibrators, jumping eggs, dildos, masturbation cups, beads, etc. Sex toys typically fall into two categories: porous and non-porous materials.  

   - Non-porous materials are generally safer since their surfaces resist bacterial buildup. Common non-porous materials include glass, heat-resistant glass, silicone, and stainless steel.

  - Porous materials are more absorbent and can harbor bacteria more easily. These include hard plastics, leather, faux skin, synthetic rubber, acrylic, jelly, nylon, and neoprene.

3. Choose the Right Soap  

A mild, unscented soap is ideal for cleaning sex toys, as it's less likely to cause irritation.

4. Or Go for a Specialized adult Toy Cleaner  

 Specialized adult toy cleaners are a simple, effective option. Just spray it on, wipe it off, and you're good to go. They're easy to use, kill bacteria, and won't damage your toys.
